Director of Business Office Services - FT Altoona

This position would oversee all billing office functions of Pyramid Healthcare:
Manage the day to day billing cycle process to ensure all lines of business are being billed timely
Manage implementation of IT solution applications including setup of database, demographics, fee schedules, billing codes, etc. , including coordination with clinical service teams.
Manage AR collection process to ensure timely collection activities are being followed including directing in-house collection efforts.
Establish communication tools to allow for reporting on billing denials/rejections, unauthorized services, and managing AR write-offs
Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain billing personnel
Implement productivity standards and goals for department
Report on key performance indicators related to billing and collections activities
Coordinate with accounting team on month-end close process and reports, general ledger interfaces, and AR aging reports
Engage in relationships with commercial insurance and managed care provider relations representatives to enhance the collection cycle
Monitor insurance and regulatory changes that will impact business revenue and process; ICD-10, billing code updates
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: 3- 5 years managing and directing revenue cycle process for healthcare related services; expertise with Information Technology solutions to drive billing/collection process efficiently; strong analytical and communication skills; Bachelor Degree level education.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
