We are seeking for the following times:
The schedule we are currently hiring for is:
Friday 8:
30am-7:
00pm, Saturday 8:
30am-4:
30pm, and Sunday 8:
30am-4:
30pm (Off Mondays-Thursdays!) We are looking for a motivated individual who has a genuine desire to work with animals.
Duties will include:
Daily cleaning all animal kennels and cages and feeding of all animals.
Maintaining food and litter supply stocks, putting away donations.
Intake of stray and owned animals, vaccination of animals and intake paperwork completion.
Showing of animals to potential adopters, review of applications and processing of adoptions.
Assist with dog assessments.
Answering phones and emails and servicing customers.
Processing of dog licenses, DOA's, lost and found reports and general office duties.
The candidate is required to be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Experience handling animals (dogs and cats) is desired and you need to be confident handling large breed dogs.
Must be capable of lifting and carrying heavy bags of dog food and cat litter.
Excellent customer service, communication skills and attention to detail are desired.
Candidates must be able to take direction from management and be considerate of fellow employees and volunteers.
Basic knowledge of computers and the ability to learn new software quickly is desired.
You will need your own transportation and a valid PA driver's license.
Candidates will be asked to undergo a background check and random drug testing.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
