We are seeking an Assistant Day Care Director to join our team! The Assistant Day Care Director is responsible to work with the Day Care Director or ensuring a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for all children within the care of the facility.
The Assistant Day Care Director assists with accountability for the guidance and supervision of staff, facilities management, operational management, budgetary and legal considerations as well as long term planning.
The Day Care Director and Assistant ensures the needs of the center are met as well as the children in the center's care and the well-being of the staff.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required 2-3 years direct professional experience in an early childhood setting Minimum of Associate's Degree in ECE or related field, or Bachelors Degree degree in ECE or related field High energy Strong oral and written communications Ability to work well with others and to foster a team environment Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills Mandated Reporter Training Certificate Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification preferred State Police Criminal Clearance PA Child Abuse History Clearance FBI Fingerprint Based Record Check National Sex Offender Clearance 2 Non-Family Reference Letters.
