September 14, 2023 Purpose:
Responsible for performing clerk-typist duties, maintaining files, typing correspondence, placing drug orders, receiving and accounting for drugs coming from all manufacturers, and controlling and maintaining inventory stock.
Update computer systems and assist the Office Manager when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for billing departments for floor stock.
Receives and unpacks incoming medications daily.
Investigate discrepancies in material received.
Responsible for processing purchase orders.
Responsible for compiling department activity reports daily.
Receive company price changes and records in inventory.
Determines drug amounts to be ordered and places orders daily.
Education and Formal Training Required:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must have successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician course or is a graduate of a Practical Nursing Program with successful completion of the designated portion of the LPN Medication Administration Course.
Experience Required:
In lieu of the educational requirements, the individual must have one year of acceptable experience as a Pharmacy Service Technician.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
